Cisco EIR was proud to sponsor this year’s Kairos Global Summit, an event for young entrepreneurs from leading universities and graduate schools around the world held by Kairos Society on October 17-18 in Laguna Niguel, California.
The summit unites experienced entrepreneurs and decision makers from companies like Cisco, GE, Sprint, Johnson and Johnson and more with motivated young people eager to better the world through innovation and entrepreneurship. A highlight of the summit is exhibits from the Kairos 50, a cohort selected each year by the Kairos Society and made up of 50 of the most promising ventures around the world led by entrepreneurs under the age of twenty-five.
Cisco EIR @ Kairos Global Summit 2014
We were honored to have a prominent presence at this year’s summit. Pankaj Srivastava, VP of engineering technology at Cisco, gave a keynote laying out Cisco’s Internet of Everything vision and inviting entrepreneurs to partner with us. Three of the founders participating in Cisco EIR – Kishore Kumar (CEO of Nuviso), Eugene Mazo (CEO of DGLogik) and Dennis Khvostionov (CTO of DGLogik) – joined Tom Yoritaka, managing director of Cisco EIR, and other Cisco execs leading various panels and mentoring sessions at the summit.
We were also excited to announce an innovation challenge in partnership with Kairos Society at the summit. Last year’s Kairos-Cisco Collaboration Challenge was a big success, and we look forward to seeing the innovative ideas that the young entrepreneurs affiliated with Kairos Society have for the Internet of Everything.
